As far as Vlachs was concerned, the missing woman was already dead. But he was still getting paid to kill the culprits, and that was good enough for him.

He followed the group towards the deceivingly abandoned house, machete in hand. Oddly enough, however, he refused to take any form of cover, and instead stood dumbly in the open; either out of ignorance, or bravado. The gunshot echoed throughout the area, and the grip on Vlachs machete tightened.

As the shots broke out, she quickly turned, whipping out her pistols as she slid in next to Alistair. "Don't suppose you had any sort of plan? 'Cause I wasn't gonna follow it." She smirked, waiting for the rest of the group to get into position.

After the doctor fixed up his junk Solomon stood up and addressed Alistair. Thanks for paying for that mate it wasn't necessary, I got all the payment i needed with my hands. breast in the left hand and ass in the other. now lets address the issue at hand. Valkyrie took a hard swig from her flask. She always got sour when some swine-ass tried to hit on her so crudely. She looked to the south in case any more individuals would appear. When the coast was clear she swung her sights west towards the NCR territory. The moonlight was bright enough to illuminate her view but the darkness was still overwhelming. A keen eye, however knew what signs to look for. Sudden shaking of bushes meant predators, glints of light was usually a herbivore, and humans liked to light themselves up when traveling. Those that didn't were usually up to something and that meant irregular movement that was easy to spot.

The frustration she held was further intensified when her gaze drifted to the north where her small hut lay. Chance blessed her when her "old friend" Melody drove her caravan into the town her brother had her patrolling. It figures the one time she decides to blow off steam, the prick will waltz in with work. The gunslinger sighed as she thought of the things she could be doing instead of wasting her time in the tower. That was until she saw the rock rolling down the hill in front of them. She picked up the guard rifle that was placed in the tower and looked through the scope. Shadows moved around the hill making their way for the hut. She sure as hell wasn't having visitors and to her knowledge, Melody was traveling with only two guards who sleep with the brahmin. One of the shadows stopped moving and seemed to turn to look their way.

Out of instinct she pulled the trigger as the bullet flew into her target. The shadow almost flipped backwards as its head was struck drawing the attention of the rest of the group. In a hurry, she counted heads before firing twice more. The shadows scurried all around and she wasted no more time trying to pick them off in the dark. As quick as possible, she slid down the ladder and warned the group of the encounter before drawing her two magnums and heading towards her safe house. The group rushed after her and began setting up behind sporadic cover. The fighting was most likely going to get chaotic, but Valkyrie was sure of one thing, eight dead men were standing between her and what was rightfully hers.

The shadows danced across the hill moving from rock to bush. The first fired into the group looking to hit what looked like their leader. Two more moved to flank the first shooter and fired at a lone figure standing brazenly in the open.

Alistair lit a smoke and took a puff before offering it to Mae. The smoke fell hazily out his nose before he spoke, "honey, plans are for amateurs." He stood up and took aim at one of the shadows aiming at Vlachs before firing. He noticed a flash in his peripheral and a bullet struck his shoulder. He ducked back under the rock holding his shoulder. He turned to Mae once more, "It's a flesh wound, I'll manage. So hows life?"

Aeris looks down her scope at one of the shadows near the house and fires a round she scopes back out to pull the bolt of the Varmint rifle. She looks around a little to see the man with the mask get shot at and Alistair take a shot to the shoulder Aeris scopes back in at teh same target to see him holding his chest.

The shot hit the aggressor in his torso, dropping him to the ground. The rifleman quickly stood back up and attempted to find cover. One more shadow popped out of cover to fire on Cyrus and was subsequently hit by a 5.56mm round from Aeris. The rifleman yelped in pain as he dived back behind his rock. The shadow next to him responded with silence as he seemed to pull his arm back while aiming at Aeris. Before the girl knew it, the air around her was cut as an arrow flew in her direction. Another rifleman jumped from out of cover and fired at the mysterious looking man in full body armor.

The rifleman's bullet punched Cyrus in the gut. His armor withstood the impact but it left a nasty mark. "Well that smarts!" Cyrus eyed the guy that shot him, he was hiding like a little bitch. But Cyrus' attention was stolen when he noticed another enemy stepping out to take a pot shot at one of his group. "Oi! you there!, yea you, do you have time to talk about Jesus?" He then aimed in and took a shot with both of his 9mms.

The arrow whizzed by Aeris face but otherwise failed to hurt her. When the shot fired from the rifleman aiming at Edward, the round ignited within the chamber and caused the smoking rifle to fly out of his hands destroyed. A shadow jumped from cover and reached behind him. His attention was drawn to Cyrus who called out to him before firing away with pistols. The first shot grazed the man in his shoulders while the other embedded itself in his torso. With a scream of Rage he raised the Greatsword from his back and swung it in the air. Before he charged at Cyrus he noticed the lone wastelander standing in the open with machetes. The idea of such bravado sparked a primal rage which caused him to run head first into this adversary.

As shots were fired, Edward remained in position searching for a suitable target amongst the chicken shoot.
A target was set. A bloody, angry menacing gunman with eyes set on Edward, figuring him as a bullet sponge.

As this attacker took aim and fired, Edward stood still. He heard the bullet at a distance hit a molerat that gibbed into pieces and hit a rad scorpion, that panicked and attacked a gekko, that ran into a centaur, that shot a Deathclaw that was attacking the house that Jack built.

Edward sprung into a graceful back flip slinging his rifle mid stride. He landed atop a nice vantage point, considering the open shoot out. He took aim down the rusted and narrowly straightened iron sights, and fired.
